Is there any successful haulage company owners on here?

I tend to work directly for companies, some are struggling to get their stuff moved and are therefore open to price increases. Others it hasn’t quite hit yet so are resisting increases.

I only work through one 4PL and they are struggling big time getting stuff moved, to the point where I can just name my price and they will accept. Obviously sensible prices only, I don’t want to be the one who ripped them off just because I could.

Because they will remember you in the future.

Ken.

This is turning into a niche fest.
Well, my niche is so niche that even I don’t know what it is.
Seriously though, for the OP, someone else said it comes down to hard work and good luck, and I would agree entirely, particularly the luck part.

Imagine posting asking for pointers to be in competition with other OD’s lol

Try Amazon pal lots are doing that…

The best paying loads are Glider engines. It’s a specialist niche job to get on. You need at least a motor with 600+HP, and a light-weight XL rated fridge-box as they are temperature sensitive…
