As trainers we are in business to make money, every trainer has different overheads so consequently needs X amount to start making a profit. What I say to potential customers is to come for a assessment which gives me the chance to see how many hours they will need to reach test standard and gives them the opportunity to see if they are compatible with me as a instructor and also there potential training truck. We can then negotiate on a price where we are both happy. Normally the customer has a rough idea on what the price should be anyway.
