Update on my interview/assesment today …had the driving assesment first a daf auto no problems there couple up to the trailer only mistake I made was not checking the trailer brake was applied before sliding under but did tell the assessor I had forgot to check it yes it hadn’t gone unoticed…out on the road uneventful just round Banbury for about 40 mins then back to the yard to reverse the trailer from the bay I had pulled it off from this involved a blind side reverse and was not looking forward to that at all but hey went back and in the bay first time uncoupled and parked the unit up…interview next the usual what do you think you can bring to the company etc etc I think it went well from my side will know by next Friday whether I have been successful so a weeks sweating on a phone call which I hopes starts with the words “I’m pleased to tell you…” Will post on here with the outcome.
