He gave me the job on the phone but asked me to come upto coventry today for a quick interview. the last time i spoke to him was sunday and he sound very genuine on the phone and new alot about the haulage game.
He told me he would phone me yesterday to confirm a time for today.
He told me he would need me to start on friday 31.01.14
I only sent him my cv but he wanted my driving licence details and other things which i did not send.
So the question is have anyone one here applied for this job.

Other than spending on travel or incidental expenses, HAVE YOU GIVEN HIM ANY £MONEY?
If not then he’s fishing for personal ID. If you have let him see ANYTHING that is personal to you then you need to start thinking about protecting yourself.
