Yes, I’m a Europhile. Does not mean I agree with the European Union as it now is. I don’t want a trade war, how would that help me or you. I stayed here and made my home here, because I like it here. I have worked here for 25 years, and will have to stay, or lose my NI contributions. I work, pay taxes, and help keep this country going. You were the one who made the reference to wanting the EU to kick off a trade war with us if we don’t kow tow to Juncker’s bs free movement rules.On that note do you really think that having been here for 25 years that you’d be subjected to the fallout from that. 
While if you’re that settled here then maybe you should be siding with the wishes of your adopted country and not trying to over turn a democratic decision to at least secede from if not smash Juncker’s dictatorial Federal zb pile.
Only half the people of my adopted country wanted to leave the EU. And a large number of them are now not so sure, slowly waking up to the reality of it all. If there was another referendum tomorrow (not that I think there should, or will be), I think the result would be reversed. Most people don’t make an informed decision anyway. Most don’t have a clue what it really is all about. They vote one way or another, because Mr murdoch tells them in his papers, or because that nice man Nigel does, or because Jeremy doesn’t, or because they hate foreigners, or ease they want to be nice to everybody…

There are more homegrown spongers than foreign spongers. But they don’t get reported on in the press. Partly because those home grown spongers read and watch (and pay for) that press.

Using a small minority of benefit scrounging foreigners to tar all foreigners, and call for their deportation, is what the right does so well. Soundbites without substance or plan. Firstly you need some maths lessons if you think that the vote was 50/50.
