How the ■■■■ did he even get in?

This picture was uploaded onto the tipper drivers page on FB and a boss of Wiltshire Concrete sent some not very polite messages to the poster.
They run some right bags of excrement which is all their turnip loving drivers deserve.

A link please… :grimacing:

Thank you. A fascinating insight into the tipper driver’s state of mind… :grimacing: no sign of the abuse you mentioned though.

they just look like wooden offcuts, can’t see what serious harm he would of come to, it would be a diff story if loaded with concrete slabs or something heavy. H&S gone mad, driver should be praised for initiative in wanting to get the job done.

He is certainly less at risk than the 20+stone pudding who’s been brainwashed by the HS ■■■■■■■■ and never gets oot of the cab unless its for another fish supper

You just don’t get, it do you?

I’m not going to bother to explain either. If you’re that dim, good luck…

No they withdrew them after attempting to cry to the posters employer. A competitor.

You’re kidding surely?

As soon as he frees it off the rest of the load behind it will come shooting out. There is a very high probability that it could catch him out, he get caught in it or falls over onto it, gets dragged down with it and possibly have his head ripped off as it smacked the bar across the back as it pulled him out the back of the tipper.

Braindeads like you are the reason we now have to hand keys in at RDCs.

You’re not exaggerating there a little bit are you? have his head ripped off FFS

I’m quite happy to accept it is not the safest manoeuvrer and someone should have a word with him, but who is he endangering apart from himself, he’s a grown man let him get on with it. I get sick of folk thinking they know best for others. And even more sick of the stupid and often completely pointless H&S bolloxs dreamed up by the clueless and relished by gullible busy bodies - they are the ones to blame for the RDC nonsense.

And what is it now with twonks now photographing and filming others to get them into trouble like some teachers pet at school. Some folk hate the cyclists with the cameras for reporting close passes but least they have a reason if their lives were endangered, but this, what was this for? a few likes on arsebook?

its quite sad really.

And on another thread we have a ■■■■■ trying to get compo for driving a vehicle he may or may not have been trained on, in a manner it shouldn’t be driven and in a place he may or may not be allowed to drive on, resulting in a broken wrist.

What would your response be to the guy in the tipper if he came on here saying he wanted compo after things went pear shaped? Like it or not, h&s exists because of the lowest common denominator (shown above).

I’m guessing the driver doesn’t get on with the machine operators on site. Surely there must be a 360 or loading shovel that could easily free the load for him?

Unless he’s tipping out of hours or whatever.

did my cpc training with ep eptraining.co.uk/ we had a tipper guy in class often fell asleep, are tipper guys often mocked ?

From my experience tipper drivers are the elite as we get the job done +1 extra load. :sunglasses:

Maybe he’s agency and hoping to perfect his dragged through a hedge backwards look.

When in glasshouses etc. :unamused:

Well known that the operator in question employ drivers whos’ staple diet consists of turnips.

While the picture has a Darwinian relevance to humans, I think most of us get swept up with the “get the job done” and camaraderie ethos leading to dangerous shortcuts and risks being taken. The greatest HSE monitor is between our ears but is sometimes so easy to ignore.

Normally I’d agree with that, but their drivers are a very very peculiar breed. The sort that on delivery directions need a translation for which way to turn out of the yard gates.

A couple of years back some of their most impressive DAF mixers were working in SE London, guessing on hire to one of the major firms don’t think they found many turnips there’s only fried chicken shops & cut price booze shops selling 2 litre bottles of cider
