I thought by bellend you meant people who were just toss pots or had crap characters traitsI easily get on with people who make mistakes and we work it out together. Itâs actually a strength when someone admits a mistake and asks for input in my field - everyone is human. I can easily get on with people who arenât necessarily er, âup to speedâ or donât seem that switched on over something or have mind block. That doesnât push my intolerance buttons, especially if theyâre open about it.
I canât tolerate sarky, supercilious, caustic unpleasant types. You canât work with those. Those to me are the bellends

Shots fired? At who? Iâm talking about people you meet at work. Had a few characters in mind Iâve worked with over the years

I wonder whoâs stocking up on pitch forks and piano wire, for when the truth about Dec 25th the turkeys are about to vote willingly for (again ) is finally realised.

The man is â â â â obsessed with name plates in windscreens .
He is always prattling on about them at every opportunity.
Heâs like a one trick pony and relates nearly every thread he is on to â â â â name plates.
^^^^^ Speaking of nameplates mate, I was in slow moving traffic going through Swaffham yesterday and one of yours was heading towards me in equally slow moving traffic. I excitedly looked forward to maybe meeting you face to face for the first time. As we neared each other my hopes were crushed as I saw that not only was he driving in his hi vis he also had a nameplate bearing the legend âflying pieâ on it. Weird man

Whilst she has promised* that the UK will leave the single market and the customs union there is only the vagueness that the UK will not make âvast annual contributionsâ to the EU and that we will pay âa contribution for access to EU programmesâ. I want that to say NO contributions.
Whilst the EUâs charter of fundamental rights will not be made into UK law we will remain signatories to the European Convention on Human Rights for at least the next Parliament! And there is sweet fa about leaving the ECJ, imo the most important part as that is the authority whose tentacles reach deep into all members rights.
The backsliding has already started . . .

The back sliding started when the remainer Cameron passed on running government (and Brexiteers) to the remainer MayâŚ

Thereâs been some bloody good posts in this thread, one thing you can say about the main bulk of lorry drivers they aint fools by a long chalk, â â â â â â â on them whilst telling them its raining isnât working any more.
Getting the rest of the population to think for themselves is i fear a hopeless task and there simply aint enough of us to change things no matter how we vote, as some of the lads above seem to feel, the place (Britain) is just about bollocksed.ATT, youâse a braver man than me, i only want a phone for making or receiving phone calls, it has to be simple tough and actually of use as a telephone, so thats smart phones out the window, iâll stick with me Samsung XCover B550, meant for builders etc.
Nokia are re;leasing the old basic mobile âŚIt only makes and receives calls apparently .will probably do texts ,but no camera etc

Why do you even care mate?
Go on then, fill yer boots, Iâll make your day complete.
⌠ââYES I HAVE MY NAME IN THE WINDOWââ.
âŚtry not to get TOO excited now âŚthereâs a love.
Work day for me today.
One of my oppoâs spoke to me in the week, said âhave you noticed how much the standard of lorry driving has deteriorated recentlyâ
well we had a conversation about it and we came to the conclusion that its really gone downhill over the last few years, but seems to have taken a nose dive even further in the last few weeks.
I know this is mentioned regularly here, but itâs got really noticeable now.
Anyway iâm off down the M1 thismorning, and our conversation came back to me, early doors and the roads were lovely and quiet, however that didnât stop one or two on a mission doing their best to make possible problems where there werenât any.
The worst example was the FH that decided to overtake me and the two foreign lads about 1/4 a mile before the M25 diverged, heâd got about half a mph on us, weâre all in the left lane going East, so he gets alongside the lad in front of me almost at the last knockings and then puts his left indicator on cos all of a sudden he wants to go Dartford way too, fortunately the foreign lad is (unlike he) a pro lorry driver and slows up to allow him in.
If the foreign lad, (both of whom were driving impeccably doing about half mph lower than my cruise speed but for that difference i canât be arsed with an elephant overtake and was quite happy to follow them) hadnât braked to allow this pillock in what did he think was going to be the outcome, was he going to take the bend on the M25 slip in the outside lane overtaking two foreign lads with a loaded double decker on the limiter? the mind boggles.
Now normally individuals like this donât annoy me, but he was just one of quite a few double decker pallet artics on the road going south.
Most of them driven well so not blanket accusing the pallet decker lads, but the odd one pushing like buggery.
I got to wondering, mainly why? was this bloke simply a â â â or is there another reason.
It also dawned on me that i havenât seen unecessary/stupid driving from a foriegn regd artic for quite a while, situation reversed from what it was say 10 years ago?
So lads, this pallet trunking at night?
Do they set a fuse up the driverâs arse when they leave the hub or what , if they take 15 seconds longer than the olympic gold time to get back does it ignite an incendiary shoved somewhere?
Seriously though, are the drivers under that much pressure to make time?
Canât speak for the night lads J, but I drag DDâs regularly and some of the runs are really tight on the tacho

Iâm hoping its just one or two pillocks who would be driving like a â â â whatever they were in, but it did make me wonder if the lads are being âencouragedâ shall we say for the want of a better term, such as bullied , to push to the limitâŚseriously though this particular bloke never got out of sight despite the forcing in to make 100ft, if heâd got 20 mph on everyone else and a 15 mile single carriageway coming up i could understand it.

I hear you mate Iâve just commented on another thread about pricks that wonât let you past, which is ironic!

Iâm a real arsey â â â â EB, so if that was me, âŚinstead of trying to meet their â â â â stupid schedules, I would make bloody sure the job did not get there and/or back in time, again and again,.and not be too amazed the next time when the schedule suddenly became more realistic and achievable. âŚbut thatâs just me.
Once you start to help these type of pricks to look as if they actually know what theyâre doing, you are Donald Ducked, I learned that one a long time ago.
