After holding out for the kind of job i want as opposed to taking the first thing that came along, ive finally got sorted with a job 
Ive been doing weekend work, and the odd day here and there, for a friend of mine in my old left â– â– â– â– â– â– 530 Scania up to the other side of Glasgow, and back down to Felixstowe with tilts, or should i say euroliners, mostly empty up 
, then changing over trailers for a loaded one,(all of 4 tons ) back to the docks.
I had rung Carr Brothers from Northamptonshire up last week, got the form, filled it in and sent it back, and got a call this morning to go up and see them. And they gave me the job mainly Germany, and a bit of France,2 or 3 weeks away if i want it(yes) i will be getting a Volvo FH 12 Globetrotter, not sure yet if its a new shape FH, or if its an XL or not though. Have to wait and see next week. As all their motors are well turned out, it should be a nice motor whatever it is. And thank God, its a left hand drive 
Is there anybody on here who drives for Carr Bros, who could tell me what the craic is? I spoke to a driver who worked ther just over a year ago, who i helped to do his T-Forms at Chiasso, and he said its all legal and a good place to work, so ive got my fingers crossed

Glad to hear you got a job Kindle. I have always thought that Carr Bros fleet is smart, have some cracking motors, so you will be in your element.
Had a night out with 2 of there drivers at Haybay, they seemed happy enough with the job, especially one bloke as he was returning home to get a brand new FH16.
