I know a fella who has 4+ syrups, and swops em to match the various stages of hair length as his remaining hair grows between hair cuts, ironically his syrups are red haired but his remaining hair is turning grey, he categorically denys any idea the he’s bald, although his twin brother was bald as a coot
I started to notice my hair going slowly in mid to late 80s while sporting a 70s ■■■■ star mullet and Magnum tache.
I even tried out that bloody expensive Regaine/Minoxidol for a couple of months to no avail, but then thought ■■■■ it, got the hair shears out set on no.2 then progressing to no.1, to my present shaved head cool, hard , butch trucker look.
Fortunately shaved hair is more acceptable and fashionable to what it was, so I’m quite happy with it.
As for the o/p, as much as I sympathise with him why tf did you go so far to that stage with it without thinking or realising it was doing you harm.?
the effects of finasteride (propecia) are well documented and have been for years had you bothered to do any of your own research.
the good news is, the doc should put you on testosterone replacement therapy now so you’ll be feeling like a teenager going through puberty soon enough
I believe a natural medicine called Saw Palmetto can reap dividends on a long term basis, mainly used for prostate maintenance and resultant tract infections but it’s been known to stimulate hair growth in some.Maybe do a little digging online as to what other products could enhance the palmetto, maybe fish oil or hemp could be the key.

You can find most anything online. You’ll equally find the opposite…
.
There are swindlers making money from “natural remedies”, as there are pharma companies with an eye on profits rather than honesty.

Quite so,case in point that kfc of the supplements sector which inhabits most city streets ,named after a low lying, clog wearing nation and a builder of rural, uglifying, orange hutches…it gets bought by a monolithic, arms dealing concern,(Carlyle group),prices raise, product ingredients diminish, name of the game these days, using rapacious corporate entities to facilitate wider political agendas under the auspices of good honest mercantilism.Natural remedies take a long time to show benefits and most folks conditioned by big pharma, generally go for the quick fix,“dr knows best” option alas.
I’ve experienced big pharmas crap, pregablin, gabapentin, tramadol etc, sweet jesus never again.Swansons products I’ve found are good quality but most high st crap spends months on chinese warehouse shelves, slowly diminishing in quality before it reaches these shores.
