Result all round then. Well done.
In the last place I worked, I used to be sat over the lads that were downloading my card, they used to tick a box on TachoMaster, to only download data I had carried out for that company.
I once enquired as to what that meant, and he said basically that it would cross-reference the Reg numbers of the motors is driven, and only take information from my card for vehicles driven that belonged to the company fleet.
I’m not saying everyone does that, but they certainly did.
But as most folk above has said, it’s a free country, and you’re completely allowed to explore other avenues of employment.

What actually happened is that my card was downloaded at the beginning and end of each shift (that’s how my company rolls!) and i could see an isolated little block of driving move up the screen as each day passed. Nobody noticed it, even though it’d sit there for half hour until the next driver downloaded their card. When I checked online, it didn’t give a reg number, it was left as dashes. I’m not sure what that means, but I don’t care anymore.
Just tell them straight there was a job I was interested in and I went for a driving assessment.
What’s so hard about that

Best reply on this thread so far, short and to the point.

haven’t you got 2 cards ■■
1 for normal work and the other for “get you home on a friday night” or to take an assessment ?
Like two log books you mean ?
