I done a day trunk run a few Saturdays ago and It took me 8 hours. I left the yard at 6am and finished 2pm.
When I was out that night with my mates just chatting away I basically said something like “yeah I had short one today” to which they reminded me that it was still 8 hours which is a full days work to most people everyday but I felt as if it was hardly nothing.
Put it into perspective how many hours most of us in transport actually do. LONG!!!
Everyday, and i love it
Im paid by the hour, could be finished in 7-8 hrs but make it last 9-10. Dont tell anyone.
