£10.56 an hour flat rate.

Me, I’m a bit peeved at the mo because my regular ‘drive’ is on the shipyard having extensive improvements being done so have been lumbered with ‘driving’ the small one on fish farm food work where the wages are £50 per day less than I regularly get and here I only get paid for the days I actually work whereas on the big one I get paid foe each day on board whether working or not.
What is it you do Raymundo? Thats if you dont mind me asking
take home £500 week, no nights no weekends, start 7am 95% of the time back in yard by 3pm … job and knock
Will pm you before someone says a sailor has no place on a trucking forum (again)
Don’t know

I found a picture of Raymundo on his facebook page.
Just shy of 14 an hour for a 10 hour day. Work on average 8hrs each day but still get paid for the 10. Anything over 50hrs is overtime, and hours worked on Saturdays is time and half for the first 6 hrs then double after. 27 days holiday plus all bank holidays etc on top. 3 months full paid sick leave (I’m still on old contract, any new driver is statutory sick pay after the first week). I do on average 5 drops a day, all local to each other, or are area specific… I’m mainly kept in London.

When Raymundo was a driver I heard he had a night out in Southampton. One evening after seeing Dockyard Doris in the Juniper Berry he had his Master’s Ticket. Could just be a Driver’s tale tho?

Twin Lister Blackstones, 600hp each but I think most of the gee gees are now dead as 1969 vintage, each lump is about ten foot long and six feet high. Max revs 600

If you.re ever in Troon you are more than welcome cos we spend most of our time alongside the quay waitin on some decent weather to sail the bloody thing … she was built for working out of Corfu in Greece where the weather is much more suited to her capabilities as a sea going vessel, not the wilds of west Scotland !!
