Our small successful company paid £750 pa for a great accountant (no VAT) until we instructed the accountant, on their advice, to apply to have it struck off (cheaper than winding up), saved us a packet, tax paid, divis paid, minimal bills settled, some more tax paid again, eventually reclaimed losses. Last refund cheque arrived after the co. bank account had been closed, nowhere to cash it! Total loss to us? £10, not even worth framing
