Tell the dealer to run it across his local weighbridge or you will take your custom elsewhere.

It is a typical question from the Emerald Isle though.

How long is a piece of string? :stuck_out_tongue:

Twice as long from the middle to the end…

Could be anywhere in the region of 8.5t - 9.5t. But it will depend on the size of the body, weather its a sleeper cab and if it has a tail lift or not.

And if it has had a chassis extension, how big the fuel tanks are, if the floor is Keruin or Alloy planking and if the roof is pvc or alloy

In other words, too many variables to give a definitive answer. One thing though, Mercs have never been known to be the lightest of trucks.

thanks for your help guys

Proper laugh out loud at that one!

10 ton payload would be an average for c/side with tail-lift 18T if this helps.

If it’s going for test soon you should be able to get axle weights off brake tester I think.
