Not sure if O/D have the facility to give electronic recites though or guarantee a time an approx. time due to traffic / accidents ect on the road but most have mobile phones so you could keep in contact if any delays or hold up
A written recite may be possible
How would you pay them 
cash / 30 days / 90 days or on recite of invoice this may depend on there terms tbh
