Willy Biggs:
Yes fancy him putting effort into doing something that might bring traffic back to his website or doing something people might get enjoyment out of. Who does he think he is building something from the ground up. Let’s sabotage his efforts by posting a YouTube link. In fact get him.
I’ve clearly got ideas above my station.
I know. You wanna take a leaf out of gingo’s book and put the mockers on absolutely everything with none of the correct punctuation whatsoever. Right hand typing demoralising comments to anyone who’s getting off their arse, left hand down your pants… chugging your little warty knob.
gingo:

oh you’ve hurt my feelings now .
Top tip, I know I haven’t, but neither have you mine. Never ceases to amaze me how much impact some think they have on others when other people have no impact on them. Which is why in my experience it’s just a waste of effort on all our parts. You shoot down one idea using social media, watching a film together, but can’t see the irony in the fact you do it on social media, which a forum very much is. Forums are the granddaddy’s of the social media world. You’ll probably spend it trawling Trucknet instead, and there’s absolutely nothing at all wrong with that, I do it myself, just don’t lie to yourself that it’s somehow better.
So is the watch party still on cause I’m down for it ? I do have a couple of questions though, first do we watch it on the telly ? I don’t get the same channels as you do and we’re 5 hours behind you guys but I do have it on DVD so could still watch it at that time. Secondly, what is zoom exactly ?
It’s how everyone else who wasn’t a truck driver carried on working.
u had covid here and didnt use zoom… used jitsi asit had proper end to end encription proper security unlimited room sizes and unrestricted bandwidth
Yes but I bet you didn’t survive without hearing about it, knowing about it, and having it rammed down your throat that don’t worry about the lockdowns this is just as good as real life [emoji849]

Zoom is like a conference call on the www. You can all see the film at the same time, and also see and hear each other.
I assume you have a microphone and web-cam available? Mostly anything that doesn`t need 5 minutes to warm the valves up will be OK!
Currently in negotiations for Geoffrey Carryfast to appear so we can have a running commentary on how every single bit of the film is wrong. Fingers crossed.

Add the date to your diary, or don’t I’m not overly fussed, next Saturday 29th of April at 1800 I’m going to hold a watch party via Zoom so we can all take part! If you don’t know what a watch party is it’s where we all watch a film together. The film…….the iconic Hell Drivers about a cowboy tipper company with a young Sean Connery! It’s great fun! See you then!
