Unless I am missing something and that car has carried on driving into the trailer after it has stopped then the car must have been in that vulnerable position whilst the truck was waiting to enter the roundabout/junction. So there must be a degree of blame resting with the driver for failing to do those mirror checks we all had drummed into us prior to test day.
I would bet the insurance companies viewed it as a 50/50

Had a similar thing happen to me outside Naples but I didn’t mind cos the female driver was bloody GORGEOUS, mini skirt and short top. Mind you that was over 15 years ago now so she is probably now the size of a horse and with her ■■■■■ trailing on the ground.

You could but it’s a known fact that the company involved are known to look at this site and disciplined a driver because of stuff he posted here and there’s every possibility that they will be as presumptuous as some of the profeshunils on here. The OP should seriously consider his actions here.
FWIW I don’t blame the trucker. There was never enough room to get through there. That’s my assumption.

+1 all the time on the way out of my depot, even if you cover both lanes, whilst indicating correctly, to get round a very tight bend, some ■■■■■■ tries it or beeps at you. Two have even bumped up the pavement to squeeze past.

I have on several occassions had to stop on Roundabouts to ensure that I do not hit the stupid idiots who try and race into that ever decreasing gap, between my trailer and the center of the roundabout, I continue slow and get the trailer so close and then stop. I would say its been 95% MALE that have tried and decide to keep well back after backing up to let my trailer thru, But on some occassions, I have had to get out of the cab and give the idiot a few choice words.
Before you say I’m in the wrong stopping on a roundabout, I have also been approached by a traffic cop on one occassion, and he said there wasnt anything else I could do apart from stop, He had a lot of words to say to the car driver thou 
Upto now up in Gods Country Its been quite, Slower pace of life than driving in / around London

I think it is down to lack of education of lane discipline to the new drivers now days, hence why you get into situations with people coming down the side etc

What get me is when I’m in my car, I’ll hold back to give an artic room to get round the corner or roundabout & invariably there be some impatient so & so sounding his hooter & flashing his headlights. It’s usually an Audi driver as well.
I don’t understand why a statement such as ‘she had nice legs’ is sexist?
If you say she has nice legs you are stating an opinion. To be sexist is to use that fact to either stereotype that individual or to discriminate against her (or him!) in some way…e.g. ‘I won’t employ her because she has nice legs and she is therefore a poor driver’ would be sexist.
If a lady says to me ‘you have a nice bum’ I don’t find that sexist because it isn’t…I may ask her if she has sight issues, but that’s another story. 
The words ‘sexist’ and ‘racist’ are far too often used when in fact, all someone is doing is stating a fact…people need to check out hte meaning of these words…
What a dross society we live in, where people have nothing better to do than worry about such trivialities. Our local paper today has the pictures of the latest lads killed in action on the front page …perspective required…
