No it’s definitely a Guy but the photo has been ‘photoshopped’ with an Atki cab obviously by Bewick.He’s just avin a larf because he knows he bought all the ones on the list and flogged off a few that he didn’t need.

Dennis, I wonder has it altered much internally the outside front and back
certainly hasn’t I’m led to believe it’s now student lets I do remember you
walked uphill and down dale when traversing the internal rooms and my
Grandad had a box of wedges to level the furniture when Grandma wanted
things changed around it was well named the “Crooked House” lol.

If there ever was any Big J 8LXB’s BRS would defo not have had any ! The only Big J’s BRS ran would be the cheapest and nastiest units with the RR 220 engines. Rock bottom price noisy and nasty spec ! Cheers Bewick.

Some did exist is beyond doubt.The question is were they actually aftermarket specials and bitsas or standard factory products.As for cheapness wasn’t money saving,in terms of fuel and maintenance the whole ethos of the Gardner spec.So what better than to put the best money saving device on the planet in that regard in the day,into the cheapest possible chassis and probably what I’d have wanted,but obviously would never have easily found in the used truck ads,if I’d been a new start owner driver then.At least before the E290 arrived on the scene in something like an SA. 
Bewick is just ■■■■■■ off in retrospect at all that cash that he wasted on buying ‘premium’ Atkis that he could have added to his pension fund.

We ran a 220 ■■■■■■■ engine Borderer that could ■■■■ all over 240LXB’s AND 8 speed 240 F88’s ! Cheers Bewick.
