Wolfgang, you’re not. Driverandrew, no. Bibby supply financial funding for companies, they well of let the bath water out.
Ha. Thanks. What do you mean exactly though Marlog?
From previous posts it appears Bibby supplied financial service, if there is a breakdown in a commercial relationship one has to make a decision if you get my drift, hence, let the water go…
And let the ■■■■ float to the top

I’m genuinely sorry but I can’t find any mention of Bibby?! Nay mind. The stupidity is strong with me today
If as been reported in Commercial Motor the company is heading for administration, the company’s lenders are looking to minimise there position.
A big percentage of their 5 to 6 thousand fleet is on HP which is used to back it off into long term contract hire with blue chip users,in view of the huge liabilities to suppliers I would think that these HP firms will be looking after there own interest by going through the contracts between Gulliver and their end user to see if they can carry on the agreement with the end user paying the HP company.
My thoughts are also that some of Gullivers competitors who maybe share accounts with them will also be looking to cement their relationship and pick up new business.
Wil they go into liquidation??
From what a workshop fitter at Gullivers said to me on facebook.
Just waiting for the gates to close?
Cheers
Welly
From what I understand the big players e.g. Scania and Paccar (DAF) have already repossessed their own trucks but have allowed the end users e.g. Wickes, Travis Perkins etc to continue using the assets and are managing the vehicle lease & maintenance. Somebody might know more.
I understand KPMG are to be appointed, the problem is there is no cash left in the company to pay them, will it fall on HMRC to pick up the not insignificant tab?

Opps are you certain about this ■■? I think they wil walk out if this is true ■■?
The on Gullivers situation is far from clear I am sorry to say, there have been several stays of execution over the last few weeks and rumours about last minute buyers attracted by the size of the business keep reaccuring.I will not comment further on this situation until I see it see from the courts
U was so sure to say things about gullivers now you change ur mind■■? Have you your own rental company trying to hit them when they are down to steal there customers?
Anyone got any update on the administration etc? They’re still trading
Our place still running some of there motors, had one breakdown but they came out themselves and fixed it last week.
I don’t know how it would work but maybe once administrators are appointed they’ll call all the trucks back as they’re assets and would need to be valued, anyone’s guess I suppose though…
