Gritters-are there enough of them?

then you will have to get all your discos front axles uprated,or you will be overweight up there.
just laughing at the thought of hato discos only in the ■■■■■■■ area riding up the inside lane about 1 inch off the ground!!

but any lane covered in snow with trucks still going along at 56mph is a jacknife risk and the results are worse on roads like the A14 where theres little protection from going off road into something hard.

hmmm, dodgy old road that A14.been closed all day for just that.

There’s enough gritters and drivers, it’s grit they haven’t got enough of. Just watched a story on the evening news about how the roads authorities have had to use table salt by-products as they’ve run out of grit during this cold snap :open_mouth:

I left Portsmouth last night (Thursday) at 1900 and nearly every motorway warning sign said warning

gritting in progress

 on arrival at Penrith at 0200 on the whole journey i saw 2 gritters one in Birmingham and the other in ■■■■■■■ so where are they hiding at
On the road from Pamplona to San Sebastion i counted more than 15 plough/gritters waiting for the snow to arrive and this road is about 60 kms long. Its all down to money and f… the safety of our roadusers and tax payers :frowning:
