Nothing wrong with a bit of “company policy” truckman, as long as they don’t pretend its legislation…
I never have and never will understand drivers hours/rules etc.
I take a break when I like and when I need to, I only work what I want to and so far I have never had an infringement or whatever you call them…It is all far too complicated for me, far easier to do my own VAT, my own Intrastat and my own tax return…Accountants don`t know they are born if we are to be honest Driver rules and regs are laughable…Just a revenue raising opportunity.
Get ya 15 in at 5 hours 59 minutes …
Its a 20 minute unpaid break for every six hours worked
Jimmy McNulty:
Its a 20 minute unpaid break for every six hours worked
That’s the working time regulations 1998 (general WTD), drivers work to the road transport working time regulations 2005.
Not that it’s relevant but it doesn’t say anything about it being unpaid or a 20 minute break for every 6 hours worked

But other than those couple of points Jimmy was correct
I mean, what have the bloody Romans ever done for us eh?
