Agreed robroy, it really IS that simple.
The only problem is, that since this “trolling”, “multiple identities”, and general bad attitude towards other posters has been allowed to carry on, with the seemingly blessing of the mods, it will take time to get the wider poster’s ‘trust’ back. Like it or not, but the impression is that the mods, or the site owner, have at best allowed all this, and at worst are actually actively participating.
You can not blame posters for doubting any new member, or old members who have really or never posted…, who come on board and start a post of dubious nature. Like asking how to go about letting someone else use your operating licence…

Nothing at all wrong with that, but the manner in which you do it is, IMO, important. Recently, you come across as a lot less confrontational, unless provoked of course. In fact, I almost want to have a reasonable conversation with you. What are your views on automation in the transport industry!!!

Yes captain it is nice to have a reasonable discussion but it seems to be more of a rarity these days and I think we both know why. Some seem or are incapable.

Fwiw I don’t personally think that either UKT or Dr D are trolls. If they are I don’t really care tbh and in their defence they do provoke interesting if sometimes heated discussion, which surely is what we’re all here for. I don’t believe that there is an ounce of malice in their posts either which is to be commended. Maybe I’m wrong in my assessment or maybe I’m correct, either way it has no impact on my or anyone else’s life.
Speaking of multiple personalities I noted with interest last week a single post from Pimpdaddy. A return, or simply logging on with the wrong details perhaps?
Thanks for your support maoster. I certainly am not a troll and I certainly do not have other user names that I use. You like a few others on here post good stuff and don’t insult others just because you do not agree.
In my opinion there about half a dozen on here that are getting very tedious with their insults (same,same,same) every post and they are certainly 100% wrong with what they say in my case anyway.
They bring very little to the table (apart from insults) and in my book they are the ones admin should maybe be having a word with.
Well said maoster, you are one of the couple of dozen good guys on here. I am no troll and have never had multiple accounts. My posts are real although at times have been humorous intentionally. The ones who can see what you see are real drivers, the others are of very dubious stuff.

Read any of my posts and you will see that if anyone disagrees with me, I don’t insult them. If someone throws insults my way, then I throw them back. I have never just insulted anyone for no reason.

Well cavey, once again your right, I have calmed down since being on pre mod. It hasn’t done me any harm, I would say there are a fair few others who could do with some restraining too.
