After being made redundant from a job that I loved back in December 2009 I’ve finally landed myself a permanent position, starting tomorrow :smiley:
I’ve been doing agency work inbetween, and although I’ve appreceiated the work, I do know most of what I was given was the cr@p nobody else wanted. Since Christmas I’ve averaged just 2/3 days work a week, with only one of them being an a.m shift. The rest being early afternoon shifts, usually finishing around 2-3am. Despite me frequently asking them for early shifts. All paid at day rate, as I would always start before 4pm :unamused:
So I was rather pleased to ring the agency on Friday and cancel tomorrows afternoon shift :smiley:

That’s why I quit agency work - when they started offering onlt 2am or 2pm starts I knew it was time to go.

Thanks all. Small local company, delivering their own products. Monday to Friday, normal(ish) hours :slight_smile:

Well done, and glad you enjoyed dropping the agency.

I stupidly, trying to do the right thing, gave Igloo a weeks notice when i got a full time job again…mug… :unamused: , should have dropped 'em at the last minute like they did me umpteen times.
