You should be taking the bend at a speed that’s suitable for the road conditions and the vehicle/load you’re in control of and a speed you feel comfortable and safe with.
It doesn’t matter what speed the vehicle in front is doing, you drive your vehicle and let them drive theirs.
It’s not a question of what speed you can do more a question of what speed should you do, why drive on the edge of safety

So the general consensus is yes it can be done at 56 :-/
I would say that bend can be done at 56 mph with the right vehicle/load/road conditions but whether or not it can be done safely at 56 mph in any large vehicle is another question altogether.
Every vehicle drives individually, there is no set rule or speed that is safe or not, always keep a bit in hand by erring on the side of caution.
Far too many lorries on their sides these days, we used to drive by the seat of our pants, going by what we felt through our head hands feet and arse, nothing has changed over the years.
If clever dicky thinks he looks cool breezing round a corner on the limiter on the very edge of traction loss, he’s wrong, once he touches something slippery or a bump that destabilizes he’s going to look a right plonker when it all folds up or flips.
If in doubt - back it off.
I doubt you would lose more than a couple of minutes on a journey by being comfortable with your speed round corners.
A couple of minutes is easier to explain than a rollover!!!
a company lost an 8 wheeler mixer a few months ago think it was in telford driver was doing 50mph going around the roundabout with a full load think it was 8mtr and mixers are top heavy so he wrecked the truck it was a right off. i allways take my time going round bends and all that cos you dont know what to expect sod the other people behind. lol
