I’m sure that the Channel Islands and Isle of Man aren’t in the EU.
The Isle of Man is not part of the United Kingdom or European Union, but is a possession of the British Crown with an independent administration.
Jersey and Guernsey are Crown dependencies of the British Crown.
The islands take part in the EU freedom of movement of goods but not people, services or capital.
They are outside the VAT area, but inside the customs union.
Channel Islanders are British citizens and hence European citizens.
They’d never let Gibraltar go anyway as there are far too many insurance and financial companies using it for tax-scams. Not a hope Dodgy Dave and his pals would ever want to let go of that, and to be honest the other lot will have plenty of fingers in associated pies.
As for Spain - I kindof doubt they are really that bothered but they have to keep up occasional actions so as not to lose face.

So the Channel Islands are not EU member states other than trade in goods.Which if we’d have joined under the same deal would have actually made the case for Brexit more difficult. In addition to solving nothing concerning the bad trade deal itself which actually turned a surplus into a deficit in our case.

Define ‘let go’ within the terms of EU member state.IE freedom of movement of people and goods between Spain and Gibralter effectively removing the border that becomes as irrelevant as the border between UK and Scotland.
Scotland is part of the UK (mores the pity) so I think you mean England …

It was meant in the sense of the irrelevance of borders ‘within’ the ‘EU’ between EU states or likewise within the ‘UK’.IE there are no borders within either Federation for the purposes of movement or Sovereignty between the Federation Sates. On that note it’s obvious that the Socialist agenda is all about the sovereignty of the EU not Gibraltar.

Fair enough England and Scotland it that’s what matters. No surprise that the so called Nationalist SNP back Altieri Spinelli’s vision of a Socialist inspired Federal EU in that regard together with the Scottish Socialists.Just like the Gibraltar Socialists are hiding behind Sovereignty for Gibraltar to actually hand it over to people like Juncker and the Spinelli Group. While yes it takes a bit of sorting out.Which is what the commy zb’s are banking on.

I suppose if they do we could send all our OAP ex-pats to blockade their hospitals, bit a bit like having an army of sleepers embedded in enemy territory, waiting to spring into action, well slowing get up, find their glasses, find the car keys, find their glasses again, forget why they got up and eventuality reek havoc in the host country.
Is reeking havoc what you get when incontinent OAPs wreak havoc?
Dont know why they bothered…Gibralta was ours before we joined the trade club, i mean the gravy train.no sorry the EU, and it will still be ours when we leave…so they could have abstained…lol

Their issue is more about them wanting to stay with their Socialist cronies in Brussels as part of the EUSSR than keeping Gibraltar British.Which is why Cameron and Corbyn want their vote.
Give it back. Win win spain gets it back gibs dont get vote GET OUT

As they obviously don’t want to be part of a sovereign UK and Spain wants to be a state of a Federal Europe like they do they’ve obviously got as much if not more in common with Spain.Job done sorted.
