Game of chicken between cars and 44T

I had a dive bomber in a van trying to get from lane 4 to J26 M25 exit in the last possible moments. He got to lane 2 indicating only to be blocked by the line of trucks in lane 1. Far short of stopping dead all he could do was carry on.

As we were goimg clockwise next junction is 27 for M11 only gives you north or south or carry on round to J28. Best option from there is up to Harlow and either back down M11 or cut back through Epping.

Whichever he chose it would have been lengthy. A rare win in my book.

Nice :grimacing:

Not cones, and not my doing, but I had a front row seat a few years ago, when an Audi tried the usual “lane four to the exit slip” at the last moment. He only just managed to cut across the truck in front of me, but timed it badly, missed the hatched triangle bit, and crossed hard over the grass verge part after the split, only just in front of the start of the barrier. Not sure how much damage he did, but as I passed he certainly damaged his bumper which was flapping about as he rejoined the carriage way on the sliproad.

Anyone here managed to send a car into the cones going down to one lane? I still haven’t managed it yet.

My most memorable, and satisfying, effort was a fully blinged up pallet network style hooligan, who tried to beat me into the roadworks, I think on the M6, one evening. He was struggling to get past me and obviously didn’t have enough speed to get past before the cones. Desperate to get into the sizable gap in front of me ( ), he started fl ashing his numerous spotlights. Seeing him pulling smoke to avoid running into the cones did make me smile.

I’d like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize for my childish, and out of character, behaviour on that occasion.

 Great effort
