I’ve got some tablets that reduce fuel consumption in my van. They’re called beta blockers and I take one a day with water.
I wonder if these tablets work by cleaning your fuel system out and remove carbon build-up in the cylinders? Thus improving effiency, I used to think that Redex worked a treat. I also wonder if the way trucks are driven nowadays, at low revs to save fuel, they don’t get a good blow out and tend to carbon up more.

Being cynical I instantly avoid anything that someone tries to sell me and I’ve already decided that this must be a load of old ■■■■■■■■. Anyone going to change my mind?
Well if you wedge them under the accelerator pedal then you won’t be able to push it right down and that will probably save you some fuel…
