A lively forum needs entertaining characters.
And whilst I’ve never agreed with a single thing I’ve seen you post in my short time on here, I can’t deny that you’re definitely entertaining and a character and the forum will be the worse for your departure!
don’t worry tgt,he has departed more times than the moon, always after making a arse of himself. he will be back in a different guise(username) tomorrow
bye bye dozy, ady1, mo, topgun

Ah, thanks for the heads up.
I imagine he’s gone through quite a lot of different guises!
I’ll look out for his return, he does make me laugh

Mike, getting a bag of chips for free is fine, and we’d probably all have been saying “hey, nice one Dozy” if he’d just posted about how he had a free bag of chips because he winked at the woman in the shop, or whatever. It was his follow up of how we should all go in there and try it on because the woman’s a soft touch, and he’s going to tell all his mates and spread the word around “Rovers Board” (whatever that is) and encourage everyone he knows to take advantage of this woman’s generosity that annoyed me. If it’s a joke, it’s not funny, and if it’s not a joke, he’s an arse.
You’re right mate, i just thought it was a bit of banter at first. Looking into it more i think its far deeper rooted.
I also note the OP gets a tax free meal allowance, so thats something we’re all paying for and he’s getting double the benefit. I’m getting onto the HMRC about it. The ■■■■■■■■ probably got a big smile on his face when he’s eating them chips too. It needs stopping. And its our duty as Internet users to complain/email everyone from the chippy, his employer and the HMRC and let them all know exactly what is going on.
I got offered loads of battered chip shop delicacies one night to go with my supper I’d ordered.
I went into the chippy just before closing time @9pm and was asked “do you have a dog?” Rather than throw out the left overs, I got to take them home (despite not having a dog )
And they were all pukka, non of this “Winner’s Sauce” business either

This is all bloody earned last week and they have a go at me for accepting a free bloody bag of chips .
Some people earn half this in a week (less if agency due to unpredictatability of work available) and some are lorry drivers not just shelf stackers .
As for the freebie, you are not the only taker.
I’d do the same.
Just not brag about it.
Don’t post much on here so anybody who goes won’t be noticed by me .

ha ha quality post. Although I do believe some in here will think you are being serious. It’s a humourless place we abide.
Not a lot to say really chips and they are free who cares about anything else still can’t understand why people shop at Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Sainsburys, after all Aldi and Netto are half the price after all peas are peas and tomatoes are tomatoes only picture on tin differs same with the chips if they are free go for it.
We used to pick up scotch eggs from a place in Goldthorpe, the chap there used to always give you a box of samples then one day I went and he told me that someone had grassed him up for giving drivers samples so he would have to be more careful about who’s around when he gave them us,this genuinely took me by surprise as I thought him being the manager the stuff he gave away was all authorised ect,so I told him straight away I didn’t want anymore as I wouldn’t have taken any from him had I’d have known he wasn’t supposed to be giving them to us I genuinely thought he was allowed to do so and no way would I want him risking his job for a few measly scotch eggs.
I suppose not everyone gives a toss about others though…
I remember being hard up. I went to a cafe where I was a regular and ordered a mug of tea and not my usual sausage sandwich. When asked, I said I couldn’t afford it that day, so she gave me one for free. A couple of weeks later I went back and gave her the cash and a big thank you.
Isn’t that what most of us would do in the circ’s?
Flippen eck. I earn less than half that a week and I could afford a bag of chips every day if I wanted.
What the hell are spending your money on?
I run two expensive cars, a mortgage, spend vast sums on pointless gadgets and Im still living pretty comfortably. No debts, bar the mortgage which I over pay on every month.
If I earned what you did, I’d feel like king of the fricken hill.

Went in chip shop just up from chesterfield f.c ground, ordered a fish cake and then nice lady said only fish cake yes just a fishcake( don’t get paid until Friday ), anyway she says here have some chips as well, piles on a load of them.
So if your after some free grub pop in ,but don’t order pie+ chips!fish + chips!order just pie!fish and you might get the chips free .
Top,tip ,pay women I.e 90 p for fish cake in 5p pieces, she’ll think your hard up,and take pity on you.
Just up,from chesterfield f.c,luminoseblue light round windows, don’t all go in at once as it’s a bit obvious
Not that dozy after all if you carry around 90p in 5p pieces, sound man
