Wouldie:
Then you get other drivers who are frightened to use the fast lane, not forgetting the cyclists who ride on roads quite clearly not made for riding a push bike. Sometimes common sense isn’t all that common.
Truest two sentences in the thread…
Now all we need is someone with an adenoid issue to come in and tell us there is no such thing as a Fast Lane. That could only be topped by some pompous ■■■■ calling it Lane Three, because they saw it on Police, Camera, Action once.
There’s no such thing as a fast lane, only lane 2 or 3 or 4 etc. I know this is right because I saw it on Police, Camera, Action once.
Written in a hurry, cos I’ve got an appointment to see the Doctor about my adenoids.
Peter, you strike me as the sort of guy that would enjoy the engineering of a good cog machine, but would equally enjoy throwing a wrench into it to see what would go wrong!
Proves what an infantile pea brained bunch “cyclists” are if they can’t place context to a label. All the cyclists in the uk are aware they can get squashed down the side of a lorry -
no they arnt aware.if they were aware, then the whale kissing tree hugging vegetarian fruitarian fannys wouldn’t keep getting squashed down the side of lorries in droves every year …

I’d sooner chuck chester in it .
chester:

Fixed it for you all, no need to thank me.
I like this, anything to bridge the void between the perceived cyclists hate of truckers and vice versa.
Let’s face it using the command “Stay Back” is likely to produce the opposite reaction as folk hate being told what to do.
Much better to use less commanding two words phrases like “Cyclists Take Care” “Think Truck” “Stay Alert” “Proceed Carefully” “■■■■ Off”… etc
As mentioned sure most bike jockeys couldn’t care less and this is down to fors yet again trying to justify their beaurocratic existence.
