I stopped counting at 30 countries because it got confusing. I counted Czechoslovakia as three countries, because it used to be one, now it’s two and I’ve been to all three Then there’s Yugoslavia, I counted it as one, but now it’s four or five seperate countries, then you’ve got East and West Germany, they used to be two countries. Then there’s San Marino and Monaco, are they countries? What about Northern Ireland, it’s part of the UK, but you have to get a ferry over there, then there’s the Isle of Wight What about Wales and Scotland…and Essex, that’s like going to a different planet

Wheel Nut:
There must be one of those dang foriners on this thread who has never been to Britain
I did not marked one - as it says British Isles ONLY. And since I had to mark a few others, than ONLY does not apply to me… Or I was trying to be too smart?
Yes, agreed the “British Isles only” bit makes it a bit daft a question. If a mod could remove the “only” that’ll fix it.
I used “Balkans” to get around “anywhere in former Yugoslavia”.
As for “place I’d like to drive, but have not as yet”… I’ve always fancied the northbound Chile/Peru route on the 5 highway.
I’m guessing this area is going to be like being on the moon at night time… Being so close to the equator as well means being able to see at some stage the entire sky, the same way the ancients did. Kinda puts things in their persective looking up with the likelyhood of being the only person for 100 miles in all directions…
Any of you folks got any stories from this neck of the woods?
The lands of the ancient civilizations around the med must have a few interesting tales to tell “the passing by trucker” as well…
