are it is possible penalty if camera hunt drivers from backside ,not to truck or car front side?Yes. 3 points and £60 fine. They will send the penalty notice to the haulage company who will name you as the driver and then you’ll get one.
There are plenty of employers who’ll NOT reveal the name of the driver, and pay “just a fine” instead. No points on anyone’s licence that way.

Hi just for general reference its a 14 day limit to be notified of offence for private vehicle
and up to 3 months for company or hire vehicle usually they are quick off the mark to collect as its mostly automated nowadays
also most/all new cameras are digital so they don’t run out of film
That’s not quite correct. The police have to send a NIP to the registered keeper within 14 days. After that there is no specific time limit. The RK has 28 days to send the NIP back saying the truck is leased to XYZ Ltd based in Aberdeen; XYZ Ltd will pass the NIP to the TM, who will know from his records who the driver was. Again he has 28 days to reply. After that, the police will send it to the driver, who once again has 28 days to respond.
Some of those cameras in that area are for people who ignore the lane closures and dont move over seen them going off at night they are set quite low down and seem to be if you ignore the arrow moving you over. Some idiots will just keep going until they see the cones then its get out of my way Im coming over despite the fact they have had plenty of warning. I have even seen them plod on even when the red crosses are displayed.
Got the flash of truth in the same place couple of weeks ago, waiting for the letter. Was moving lanes waiting for a gap as described. Two in outer lanes going faster than me i was doing 46/47. Tired and looking for gap rather than at clock. flashes brought me back to real time like a bloody disco with two outside me setting it off as well.
Hope they do a course so i can save £4…
Before the resident speed police on here turn up, i know stupid. Wasn’t inentional just miles away after a long week and rolling along empty singing along to the muppet thing Simon Mayo plays… other half has already pointed out who the muppet is…
@calsdad -do you do the nose-hold while singing Ma-na?
No mate … Both hands on the wheel … profesional driver u see… and obviously a muppet who will be £96 worse off. Not that bothered about the money though, siting in a room with the self righteous ■■■■■ from the AA for 4 hours… Might give em a song Nah Nah Nah, as not in the truck could go for the nose hold…

They are normally to the left and halfway down gantry up right .Yeah but the three cameras raised up on a pole pointing at the gantry in the same direction of the flow of traffic are■■?
x3 cctv lane cameras 100 feet before the variable speed limit sign to prove the signed speed limit at the time of the offence when you passed under them.
