First time out tonight doing class 1 fridge work!

Mainzer:
Still getting dizzy and blood pressure is still high so can’t be nerves. Company seems to be ok with my reason for not going out but probably won’t get another go with them.

You need to inform dvla pal,you are a danger in any truck having dizzy spells.

My first time out in an artic I was not nervous at all, just extremely excited about something I had always wanted to drive legally.
However I do remember being nervous taking a brand new unmarked unit and trailer (fridge ) out to do a back shift in the dark. I was told one of the deliveries was extremely tight and involved a blindside reverse. Reversing in the dark filled me with dread when I first started.

I know that feeling my old man sent me to Droitwich the night I passed my car test , alone with a 7.5T Bedford TK box wagon full of pallets , had to find the hidden keys in the dark let myself into the drop turn the light on open shutter and do it all myself !

Aye after a few yrs on tandem tippers and thrown the keys to a low loader , and me asking the q what the f is a two speed axle, then a few yrs later take this lhd A frame outfit with twenty drops on to the 6pm ferry all fun lol
