I had 3 weeks in Stavanger, courtesy of NATO, back in 1998. Absolutely stunning country and people - didn’t see one fugly all the time I was there. We used to frequent the dickens bar in the harbour, they had some commemorative beer glasses made to celebrate 25 years. I asked the barman if I could buy one to take home. He said, in all seriousness ‘no, we do not sell them. You must wait until I am not looking, then steal it!’ Still got it at home
