stinger:
So I’m hoping to a start a new job next month (cvit driver) and since I’m getting bored I decided to jump on the agency until I get cleared to work for this company. So I tell them I don’t wanna do multi drop from the word go, I’ve already done that has a winter fuel driver, I just want something cheers easy for a couple of weeks, anyway I get a call yesterday "we have a curtain sider class 2 job it’s only about 3 drops they say. So I’m like yeah I’ll do that,…So I`m like reading this and thinking like yeah the guys done well all things considered, and like 10/10 for effort.
But seriously, well done. You gave it a decent shot, and lessons were learned. We don`t know what the client asked the agency for, they may have never been specific about the nature of the job and the driver, as usual, caught the sticky end of it all.
We`ve all had bad days!
Conor has a point about skill sets required by agency drivers. Its ironic that agency work is seen as a route into the job by newcomers into the industry, where you fly by the seat of your pants. Its also a fact that blokes who get chucked out of a job head straight for the agency, as most agency knockers on here would do.
Conor:
Indeed. Its for drivers with a wide range of skills and an ability to think on their feet and work things out on their own.

I do actually agreed on that, but not when the job is completely different to what has been told, that is just jack
