Seriously though why do some people take this forum and it’s posts sooo ■■■■ seriously?
It ain’t real life it’s a bunch of truckers talking crap, banter and a bit of info thrown in.
I enjoy this forum, but I keep it in perspective, ok there are one or two on here who mildly ■■■■ me off, and I know for a fact that I ■■■■ one or two off also , but I don’t actually ‘HATE’ anybody on here, and I would not dream of threatening somebody or nasty PMS.
Some are irritating and annoying, but you read some posts and you can here hate directed at yourself or another member…wtf?.. …just go with it, it.s a forum !!

You get the ones who flounce off after a big announcement telling you so, as if anybody cares, you get the ones who put certain members on block, again as if anybody actually cares, you get the odd one like matey here who reacts disproportionately to somebody who disagrees with him…
Have these people not grown up, have they not got a REAL life at home so this forum acts as a substitute to life or what,■■..is that why they bear so much importance to what a random bloke who they don’t know, posts on a forum??

Bloody pay gap is largely a myth anyway. It usually doesn’t account for training/qualifications and compares doctors to nurses etc to then say men earn more in medical sector. And of course more men work full time and do much more overtime and more dangerous jobs.
You don’t see many blokes working three days a week as an admin assistant and driving a Merc while their rich wife brings in the big bucks.

This would be a different matter IMO, but is illegal now I believe (although of course people don’t always obey the law).
But you hear so many young women moaning about the pay gap when young women have actually outearned young men for over a decade in both the US and UK according to gov statistics. It only changes around 35-40 (depending on study), and The Economist did a study to show that childless female execs ‘continue to be promoted more aggressively than their male counterparts’. None of this surprises me as boys are hugely falling behind in education and a lot more women go to uni nowadays than men.
I think it’s clear that it’s a maternity gap, not a pay gap as such. People suggest increasing paternity rights but I don’t know many women who’d have been happy to cut their maternity leave in half and hand the baby over, so I can’t see an easy fix.

God, I would. As it was I went back up the road and dad just didn’t get paid at all.
