All joking aside I’m sure we’d all step in & help anyone who was in trouble , be it women , old folks , kids
In my experience of ‘helping women’ (while they’re getting grief off the guy/guys they are arguing with) …you end up getting a hard time or even a smack off them, with a ‘‘Mind your own ■■■■ business’’ thrown in, along with the guy/guys she is with. 
Not once but quite a few times in fact in my days as a… ‘‘peace keeper’’.
