Farrari on the m4

Have you still got you’re video up on you tube, about your trip to Norway, my mate is thinking of getting one, I’ve told him to look at it, but can’t seem to find it… Ps keep your video’s coming, I personally think they are great…

Sorry it took a while to reply! If he hasn’t owned one before I’d advise him to know what he’s getting into! They are old, can be unreliable and to keep in good condition cost a fortune every year. BUT, they are a joy to drive, they radiate happiness and people smile and wave as you go by, they are wonderful for going away in and I love mine to bits. Here’s the video, may put him off though, she struggled quite a lot.

wonder what they done him for.

Bad spelling probably.

He probably didn’t care much either, whats a speeding fine to someone with enough money to own a Ferrari :open_mouth:

You (terriers) can laugh as much as you like, but the bloke with the Ferrari probably has a nice big house or two and a few more cars to play with, I doubt his wife would be ugly either and on top of all that, I bet you a Ferrari he doesn’t have to get up in the middle of the night to be somebody’s lorry ■■■■■ all day for a pittance, of the two of you, who do you think has got most reason to have a smile on their face :unamused:

There is a flaw in that plan in the case of getting nicked at a decent speed on a British motorway using a British Ferrari and a British licence.Like a jail sentence and who knows how long ban, newspaper stories with brake and politicians calling for an even longer jail sentence than the one already given out etc etc blah blah.

Drive the thing down to Dover at 80 mph max overnight through France when all the law are at home drinking wine and sleeping and then Italy in the morning at 5 am as the sun rises. Just so long as it’s a proper Ferrari with a V12 in the front not a V8 at the back.

I agree with Switchlogic re “Super cars not doing it for me;” The Impreza and Evo look basic inside and pretty ugly externally IMHO. I don’t get why so many people fawn over Top Gear: I’ll watch it if it’s on and there’s nowt else but I couldn’t care less if the new Ferrari goes around their track faster than a Porsche.
…I’m just waiting to see “The Stig” (don’t get the hype over this either) roll it over and blow up.

Thanks Luke, I’ll tell him, I saw one other day on M1 with just married written on it, brought a smile to my face, must have been going on there honeymoon…

Having drove a couple of Ferrari’, I found them ok…

I also drove a TVR Tuscan which was a really torquey motor but an awefull drive, an Aston Martin DB9 which was frickin’ lovely tbh, and the beast of the day and car I’d own if money was no object… A Nissan :open_mouth: GTR, it was just amazing, it did everything, a gentle cruise, comfortable over the hump to join the main track, easy to drive and really easy to drive really quick, and I mean REALLY quick.

Oh, and all the staff that worked there would also take the GTR home out of their choice of any car, and there was some really nice ones I didn’t get a go in too, Jag XKR convertible, BMW M3, Lambo’s and others. Everyone said “GTR”

All that depends upon your interpretation of the way things are currently…Dancers will always be dancers and will dance for a few quid more, some of us know the game and use it to ur advantage
