Hi!I failed my class 2 practical test twice now:)
First one was i didnt stop in time when a car was coming towards me and i was turning right at a junction, fair enough.
Second time forgot to indicate when i leaved the roundabout.
I had no problem with control and drive the vehicle but because of the size and the gears and etc i can not concentrate on the road enough.
I just decided now i will do c1 for now as i would do job with 7.5 delivery and then when i have more experience with it do the C.
Any suggestions?
thanks
Sorry to here you failed again but please dont give up now as Peter say
Depends on where you are you could go to a different provider have an assessment & see what they say or stay at same 1 wait a week or so then back for another test maybe a day or two training to go with it
Sometimes a change of instructor or provider helps ( been there it did help me )
Thanks for your replies lads!!!I will go for another test but change the driving school.i should change this earlier when i had my first lesson the instructor felt asleep next to me didnt tell to much about how to drive also the vehicle condition was horrible/brake,clutch,gearbox/I dont wanna tell company name or instructor name but this is really bad experience for me.
Sadly, there are huge differences between schools/trainers. Some of this is because wannabes assume that all trainers are qualified and registered and that the industry is regulated in some way. This, stupidly, is not the case.
There is a voluntary register of instructors operated by Driving Standards Agency. Many trainers have chosen to register (by being tested on their own driving and instructional ability every 4 years) whilst others have chosen to leave it alone.
There is also a register of Driving Standards Agency LGV Accredited Training Centres. It may amaze you to know that the numbers on this register who are offering training to the public is in single figures! Do not confuse this status with having a Driving Test Centre. The rules are quite different.
I’m sorry you’ve had a poor start but this is the information to get you on the road to being sorted.
“Treat a kerb like a 15 year old girl. They’re ok to rub up against but you should never mount them”.
That made me laugh.
I passed my C with 4 minors.
I know there are local firms to me that have a rotation of C+E drivers that do their training.
Not the company I used but others…
There was 1 junction on 1 route that had the tail swing issue. We were made very aware of it in that instance at that junction but not much else was said about it…
