Actually while I agree with a lot of the inanities on there eg the “I’ve just had a crap and now I’m picking my nose” stuff, you can filter it out if you check out the background stuff, and it definitely has its uses on the keeping in contact front and in my case, because I’ve moved around quite a bit, catching up with old friends.
I left the town I went to school in almost immediately on leaving and never expected to see any of my schoolmates again. Thanks to facebook I’m now back in contact with quite a few of them. 30 years later!!
