The gaffers got sense all right. You take a 10% pay cut, I’ll go on holiday in Brazil for a month  .

A Scanny only has 3/4 of a gearbox in it, you can’t afford to drop a gear before the hill or you’ll rev its bits off. You have to wait till the revs drop off with the speed.
In a wagon with a complete gearbox, you can drop half a gear before the hill (to pop the revs up a bit) and climb the hill without loosing any speed. :stuck_out_tongue:

i have these really strange looking keys on my computers keyboard that let me use something called punctuation and even make some letter into capitals however just thought id try using this forum without them as maybe ive been wasting my precious time i now realise that im the one who needs punctuation to help me make sense of what someone else has written personally i happen to think that anyone who takes a drop in wages for a new wagon is a few cards short of a deck even if the wagon was the uss enterprise what a mug ps thats me being polite

woody90:
…it not all about driving across eurpen countries earning a crust…

IF, and that’s a big if, I’m reading this right, you don’t think that driving a truck is about earning money? If this is the case, you can drive mine, I’m sure my boss wont mind paying me so that you can drive.

woody90:
