Do you honestly think that a Government cant do two things at once? It cant chase illegal immigrants and give support to those who deserve it?
Unlike some people, most Govs can walk and chew gum at the same time.
What WE should be looked at is buck-passing in the UK. Central Gov sub-contracts payment and support for veterans through Local Government, then cuts funds, so it can absolve itself of blame.
Local Gov is in a good place to help veterans locally, good idea, making funding more difficult though?

Not sure if you’ve seen it but there’s a 3 part drama on the BBC it’s available on catch up and it is based on a true story regarding 3 girls in Rochdale who were abused in the most horrific way and when they went for help social services didn’t want to know and Rochdale Police had a similar attitude. Eventually Greater Manchester Police got involved and it was revealed that Rochdale Police were too worried about being labelled racist. Mass immigration doesn’t work because each country has different values .Watch it if you haven’t already it’s horrific and it’s still going on.It’s called 3 Girls

The Torys have announced they are going to change immigration rules so anyone wanting to move here must have a job ready to start on arrival . Some companies have already complained stating they need immigrants because they cant get staff here
Well start recruiting from abroad with a proper contract offer , the Torys have also said no social security payments for 5 years , well if they have a job on arrival they wont need social security. They have also said immigrants wont be able to send child benefit payments home. No doubt the Labour and Lib Dems will have a big problem with this
That won’t be a problem for Labour, under their proposals there’ll be no need to send the benefit abroad, the relatives will all be able to come over and claim it here.
