Great news indeed. I had a feeling that Leave would just shade it when I went to vote last evening. 6.30 pm. I had to queue and one of the poll clerks said it was a high turnout, which was going to favour the outers. Interesting weeks, months, and years to come.
I’m also surprised we voted to leave the EU, but very pleasantly surprised 
Great result, made even better by DC’s announcement that he too is leaving!
We are OUT!! Any coincidence that the pouring rain has stopped, the miserable grey weather has moved on (where I am anyway!), the sky is blue and the sun is shining again!
I wonder if this will mean the reintroduction of that quaint, laborious pastime, beloved of all export drivers years ago, “Queuing Up the Stairs” in Dover!! 
Sundays and Tuesday evenings always seemed the busiest. Many a mile has been talked and travelled on those stairs.

I doubt it but so what if it does. Might be a few more Brits in the queue so at least you’ll have someone to talk to. Maybe I won’t benefit from this but I’ve done it for my daughters. We’re GREAT BRITAIN again

Have a thought for poor old “CF”, apparently when the “Leave” vote got up to 16,500,000 he started hyperventilating so the Blokes in white coats had to be called and he is now back in a straight jacket in the rubber room !! Strange isn’t it how being patriotic is now seen as racist ? It gets me when people want to come here, then start complaining about our flag being flown at the Town Hall, or this or that, but what pulls my chain most is when some self-appointed do-gooder gets upset on their behalf. If they don’t like Britain, do what Britain’s just done and leave.

The fact is federalists don’t do democracy and this argument was never going to be settled democratically anyway.IE Federalist ideology which doesn’t do democracy v the Nation State in which no one should be able to vote away the Nation anyway.On that note notice how the Federalists are showing no intention of backing down and admitting that for us the EU is history.With naive backtracking weak so called ‘leave’ Cons playing into their hands helped by Cameron who far from resigning and handing over the leadership to a Eurosceptic leader is just playing for time.Probably in the hope that the remainers will somehow over turn the decision.

The fact that the media is still full of remain campaign bs and personalities and people like Farage and Hoey are still being sidelined as before and the stalling for time by Cameron and backtracking on the issues by the Leave MP’s says it all. 
Look “CF” the game’s over finite ! It will take time to complete the formalities but the result has to be accepted by the “Remain” side, put it this way me Old Mucker ,if the result had gone the other way by the same margin CMD et al would have been crowing about a very definitive result for the Remain camp and he would have dismissed the Leave side as irrelevant, but the ■■■■ has had to eat a large portion of “humble pie” aint he!. I sat in front of the tele and watched the sour faces of Blair, Mandleson, Campbell, Abbot, Farron ■■■■■), Anna Soubrey, Polly Toyebee etc etc. Brilliant,best bit of tele for a long while !Cheers Bewick.
