why did they blank the number plate on WS’s range rover when on the other doc on ITV 4

i watched it & enjoyed it for what it was …entertainment .
& yes of course it was played up to the camera’s thats the whole attaction for people who don’t know & is bound to be a target for the people who do .

mo drives a volvo, it has a 13litre engine & produces 460hp, which enables it to pull a loaded 44tonne trailer
does it ? surely the weight of the unit & trailer must be included in it some where ? but alas it’s dramatic & thats what TV people want, good editing & a dramatic naration is what attracts people to watch these things .
When you first watched ICE ROAD TRUCKERS ,did you honestly believe their lives were like that ? no, they lead the same humdrum drab lives as the rest or us & the stobart thing will be no different .
i liked it , it made me smile at the inaccuracies & the drama,
Shame really because it was possibly the first big chance for people to see how the industry actually works & how we have to do things.
but you got to hand it to stobarts PR people , this advertising is there to raise the image of the company no end

I have my roots in Russia and I must say the program reminds me of comunism, I should say PROPAGANDA.
Everything is spotless, cool, exaggerated and created by some primitive people. The only people who are allowed to say something are those boots lickers who belive in the system.
It’s just pathetic.

Sorry if this is rather late for you but
Channel 5 has a replay of it this morning at 10.30.
I thought it was all right, However its sort of made me think maybe working there wouldn’t be a good idea 
. And naming a truck after the tesco’s managers daughter, Made me think how sad.
It may,or may not have been noticed that I have ben awol. for about 6 weeks. Sadly .I have been forced, after watching that I ■■■■■■■ hour of contrived ■■■■■■ shown on Channel 5 last night, to return to the keyboard. A friend told me that it was the subject of a thread on TNUK, so I have logged on this morning, and can truthfully say that the posts ,up to now, have been superb.

. My personal opinion on a load of TV Dross, about a company of which I was once a proud , hard grafting, and dedicated employee. I am glad that I got out of it when Edward Stobart was still the boss. I shall be making no more comments on this thread, although I will keep on reading what up to now have been highly accurate and amusing potshots at the numpties chosen to represent ESL on National TV. I aint being funny but stobarts seem like a company i would love to work for…The main reason being, it looks like a stable job and they probably get good benifits. Ok, £8.00 seems abit of a crappy wage but i`m sure theres other incentives to keep you going?
Just seems to me that some people hate their jobs and wish they could work for Grand Duke William and his court jester Andrew.
Just imagine…new truck every couple of years…nice green uniform…ooh and the possible chance of seeing that BEEEEAAAAAUUUUTIFUL PA, she had some serious ■■■!!!

It’s on Saturday mornings aswell, bloody brilliant I’m learning so much, mainly I’m not the type of driver Stobart is looking for
The PA having to put all the glasses and mugs in a particular pattern and William Stobarts talking about the kit issued and how he wanted drivers and trucks turned out reminded me of certain people I’ve worked for in Motorsport. 
I like things, clean tidy and organised, but bull ■■■■■■■■ for the sake of it does my head in.
I feel sorry for you Buycrider. You knew you were going to slag the show off before you even watched it did;nt you?. I bet you will still watch the remaining shows though wont you?. Just so you can moan about it afterwards. You come across as a very sad and bitter man!!!.
For drivers this programme was what Predator and Claude Van Damme films are too squaddies. Thanks C5 and Stobarts, I really, genuinely, enjoyed telling the missus why this was a complete and utter crock of crap.
