Thanks Bewick. At least some people have some intelligence. How could I comment on things I know nothing about? I’m not that dumb or pathetic or into wasting my time. Some people just don’t grasp how they present themselves do they lol? And they call ME angry pmsl. Just act like they know everything and as if they are some sort of ‘real man’. That makes me laugh as do some of the predictable infantile comments. Not wasting my time answering to all individuals who can’t take the criticism. If the cap fits etc… I asked my Dad again to summarise agency drivers who he has had to assess and as he pointed out- a lot of them are useless asses who don’t get the point and REALLY do not care about the job, mess or damage they leave behind. As he had assessed drivers over an approx 25year timescale out of a career lasting over 40years, I think he would know what he is talking about. He assessed them in the UK and Europe so I think that qualifies him as reasonably knowledgeable. That 25yrs is probably longer than some of these so called experts have held any licence.
To anyone attempting to have a go at me thinking you are THAT fantastic, why don’t or can’t you get a proper job instead of thinking you can give someone who doesn’t care for your pathetic opinions and ‘manly’ rants a hard time? Rattling cages, unintentionally, has shown predictable results and if you were to grow up and get a job and stop treating women as something to be sd or perved over whilst still criticising them cos you feel superior (god knows why), you may actually see that some of us understand you and your job more than you think. I sat with my Dad while he filled in logbooks pre tacho times and asked him about his job as I was interested in what he did. He started doing the continental work back in I believe it was 1971 for MAT then Brian Yeardley then went to ICI for the various companies who have done the haulage ie Beck & Politzer, Suttons, TDG before retiring 2yrs ago. Or have I just looked them up to make a ■■■ of myself? You don’t WANT to know that I understand or know anything. Tough cos I do. As I know who he drove for prior to MAT- Holts, Bill Malcolmson, United Carriers and Hewson’s. Look up Old Hull Drivers/MAT Forum and find out for yourself. Sorry you won’t cos you don’t want the truth. I’m not full of st just knowledge but bullies don’t acknowledge anything unless it comes from them or their fellow bulls***s. Never mind!
As for my husband, he’s fantastic, we are very happy and knows how to do his job thank you. That’s why his boss has asked him to advise on how to get some of his drivers how to do the job to a better standard. I know that not all drivers are ■■■■■■■■ but by god the cream of idiots are here. I have seen plenty of childish behaviour from drivers who strop if they can’t have their own way so don’t tell me I don’t have a clue. Eg- My 1st trip abroad with my Dad. One BY gloryboy at Dunkirk docks in 1977, stropping and refusing to move from the dockside cos he wanted different flashing lights to those his colleagues had. So some kind office person back in Hull agreed to his demands and off the rest of us trotted leaving him to get his lights fitted. Was a convoy of 6 drivers with Portakabins on from York so a tad wide but appropriate lighting was already in place. If I was his boss I would have told him to sod off. My 1st real experience of a driver caring more about getting unnecessary equipment than doing his job. Didn’t get him to Paris any quicker!!! I was there you weren’t so tell me I don’t have a clue.
Some of you are exhibiting signs of stereotypical traits of HGV Drivers that those with no knowledge of the industry use to criticise you. In other words scum of the earth, liars, cheats, dregs of society, womanisers, perverts, chauvinists, know-alls etc. I’ve heard it all before and have long tried to convince people who think that that they are wrong. Clowns like those of you having a pop reinforce that some of you are exactly what the public perceives you to be. Not helping yourselves or proper decent drivers are you? That and that my experience unfortunately extends to having an ex who had all those ‘qualities’. Still where there’s wheat, there’s chaff eh Bewick? Don’t worry I find the comments amusing. Now if you drivers are all so perfect and gentlemanly, how come my 20yr old daughter recalls being with her dad several years ago and witnessing a woman tied to a trailer with chains being raped by several men while she screamed and they just laughed? Hope you are so proud of the nutters who did that cos your anti-women comments show just what sort of people some people are. Or have you seen your Dad held at gunpoint by French police cos they want to see inside his trailer for what they can take? I have. But according to some numpties, it’s all in my mind. Sad ill informed bigots who can’t take other people having an opinion. Control freaks/bullies. I wonder how many of those criticising me have a home life worth going back to or have someone who cares enough not to screw around cos their bf/husband is at work? Given your attitudes you’ll be bloody lucky if anyone gives you a 2nd look.
If you think I have a problem, while you’re patting yourselves on your spineless backs, take time to read your comments re wrong time of the month, husband being a tramper etc. Do you not have a more intellectual response than the simple schoolboy stuff? Don’t keep letting the industry or decent drivers down just cos you can’t see cos your heads are up your asses. Or better still, seeing as you obviously have nothing better to do, find a career choice more suited to your mental agility eg Timmy Mallett’s sidekick or the Chuckle Brothers script writers. Though even they need a degree of intelligence so scrap that.
As for stimulation. Hmmmmmmm, I’m shocked that you understand the meaning and certainly that you can spell it. Did mummy help with that? True Bewick, only stimulation they’ll get is from readers wives or the dial a w**k tv channels lol. Or seeing a better more gleaming vehicle with a superdooper paint job and more lightbars than actual cab front that they have aspirations to drive in order to feel like a real man. Makes me wonder if some of the respondents actually possess a class1 or are just bored between episodes of Jezza which for some will be like facebook but on telly. Maybe they watch to get tips on how to be a repugnant, obnxious prat lol.
I have done shorter paragraphs for those of you with a short intelligence span or to give you time in between, to pretend to some passing bird that you are as fit as f**k. For the rest, for the real working drivers, keep up the good work. Most of you are good guys and bloody hard workers. You have to be to carry the idle gits who just want to attempt to impress women with their ‘skills’ and ‘prowess’. As a Stobart manager often told my husband, there are drivers and there are screwdrivers. Got that right with some of the tools passing for HGV Drivers these days!

Three pages o childish rubbish.
I’m begining to wonder whats happening with this forum, There seems to be so much bickering on here lately.
I know that the agency staff we have on our site are regulars and are cleaner than alot of the regular drivers.
At christmas we get alot of s***, but they only get one chance and they dont come back.
I know that my misses would’nt come on here, but if she did and she went into one like Cruella has done, i personally would’nt be too happy and wonder why she feels she has the need to come on here while im away from home.
Like people say Stobarts are just another haulage company, if you work for them or any company and your not happy with the way they work then look for another job.Dont moan about then after you have gone.
I’ve been at my company for 25yrs, and things are getting tough here but i know that if the day comes and they do make me redundant i wont come on here slagging them off.
We has drivers should be sticking together not calling each other s***.
