Eddie Stobart Superleague OFFICIAL pics

I know that my husband is clean and respects whatever he drives as it doesn’t belong to him but it is his home for the week and treats it accordingly. He isn’t a fanatic just doesn’t see the point in living in a tip. I know that some regular drivers can be total pigs too but agency drivers can just walk away and go elsewhere. With stobart I know from what I’ve been told that even when a regular driver puts a defect sheet in, they are often ignored and agency drivers ARE blamed for everything, guilty or not. And yes even when regular drivers did have accidents or leave a mess in their cabs, nothing much was said to some of them. Probably cos it’s easier or because in spite of stobart claims, they do not have the vast waiting lists of drivers that they claim to have so kept bad drivers for convenience. My brother also worked for them and he had the same gripes as Dave and many other drivers throughout the group. Or is it that drivers love nowt more than a good old moan? The ones my dad worked with certainly did and it hasn’t changed. Or am I lying cos according to Waynedl I know nothing. So I’m making up the fact that drivers used to come to our house or we went to theirs for the fun of it. That was when people were generally more friendly not the evil, backstabbing, whinging types we have today. No-one likes to accept responsibility at stobart and finger pointing is rife. I was actually responding to Waynedl who has a bit of a problem with me so as I said to another driver, it was not a generalisation just a poke at someone who was trying and failing miserably to belittle me. But I can only quote what other people have told me over the years as truthfully as I can. Pity some drivers are lying devious arses eh?

Cruella1965:
Blaming agency drivers? Saying they don’t care? Childish and stupid? Really■■? Try being the regular driver (Tramper) of a vehicle who turns up at work to find the vehicle trashed/left in a state by these ‘caring, conscientious’ types THEN call me names. I’ve lost count of the number of times my husband has had to complain about the state of the vehicle he was largely the driver of on his return to work.

I wonder if that mess was done by the guys who drive full time most of the vehicles I had to drive as agency to replace them  because over few years of my agency work I could count on my own fingers vehicles which were clean up to my standard

Cruella1965:
No BS just the truth and you don’t like it. Well that’s your problem. I know the truth, I was there and know what I’m talking about. What’s up? No KFCs open or blokes for you to eye up. Or has your blow up trixie got a hole that you can’t fill or repair  The only BS is coming from you. As I said try to intimidate someone who will run off to watch Friends or girly stuff. No I’m not a drip but I’m certainly not blokelike and not going to be talked to by a useless muppet who has a VERY big or probably very tiny problem. You’re like those little dogs that hang on to prove a point. So keep patting yourself on the head everytime you attempt a put down but you are the epitome of why a lot of British people think that HGV drivers are scum. Something that I have fought to dispel the myth of then I encounter a clown like you. Bullied as a child were you and trying to get revenge or a small ‘man’ with a small mind and over inflated ego? Next…Why has my husband’s redundancy and that of others provoked so much anger from you? ANYONE affected are free to air their views. I’m affected so I was merely airing my views. Have you or do you work for stobart? Have you been affected by the way they treat people? Probably not. As an agency driver you more than some should appreciate how much you are treated like a 3rd rate citizen. Maybe you need a therapist or anger management. Or just to learn some people skills. As for storyville, that accolade remains firmly yours. Can’t you cope with someone who knows the score? Silly little man. Did you have to Google some terms to big yourself up so you look as if you know what you’re talking about or you been sitting on granpappy’s knee listening to his stories? Now off to bed you trot to dream about being a real and proper driver. Whats up wouldn’t stobart give you a job? Were you the driver on Traffic Cops a few years back with the high heels on when stopped by the police■■? I’ll stop the grief when you do :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: .

Cruella1965:
Waynedl. You say this is a professional drivers forum. Funny that. It says Eddie Stobart Superleague OFFICIAL pics at the top. Well scuttle off then and find an agency smash and grab forum or are you just here to get tips from real drivers. Or to read about people aggrieved by the antics of stobart as they have been affected by them in some way■■? As I said before don’t try to tell me what to do. I am doing what everyone else does and that is exercising my right to freedom of speech. Someone asks a question with the aim of people responding as I did. I have worked in haulage and as for pics of what the nasty agency driver did? Oh dear! I don’t need pics  . Seen it with those coloured things in the front of my face. They’re called eyes. And I have many friends in haulage as well as family so one gets to hear the horror stories as well as the good. My dad was a driver for over 40yrs and an assessor for over 20 and he said that most agency were a waste of space who would comply while with him then go out and guess what? Back they come with damage. Thats if the vehicle was driveable. Or leave the cab in a total mess for someone else to clean. As for sense of direction?     I appreciate that everyone needs to learn and start somewhere but at least have an inkling before setting your stall out as a ‘Professional Driver’. Plus I have spent god knows how long going round the roads of the UK and Europe so do run along and find a ‘little wifey’ to try to attempt to intimidate. Seeing what I have seen and heard is what stopped me from being a driver myself. That and robberies hijackings etc. Witnessing your dad being taken at gunpoint by french police to the back of the trailer to see what was worth having in the back aint a positive either. I used to help my dad as a kid both with trailers, yes including roping and sheeting, handballing, building trailers up not just the easy bits that pass for hard work these days and paperwork pre and post tachos, the only thing I didn’t do is drive. Well not his anyway  . The job fascinated me so do not tell me that I have no idea cos yes I have been there etc etc. Mock if you like but a lot of drivers aren’t worth their licence no matter who they work for. Know alls who lie and pretend that they are something special. We all know at least 1 like that  .

'course you did all the roping and sheeting etc… and can probably drive eaton twin splitters without using the clutch too…

You’re as much full of [zb] as the ‘stories’ of them nasty agency drivers :unamused:

Get real woman, you live in storyville, in real life a good portion of the vehicles on the road are driven by agency drivers, so if these stories were true, half would be off the road for weeks at a time being repaired, fumigated, ran out of fuel etc.

I’ll try and do this in some sort of order, which is difficult with the lack of structure in your posts.

KFC round here is 24/7, I live near 3 pubs, so I’m pretty sure at 9pm there were a lot of blokes around if that was my thing, but nice try on the provocation.
When have I tried to intimidate you? I merely pointed out that you sprout a lot of bull****.
I have done Stobart work on agency funny enough, I was also offered 3 chances at a job there when I did apply, but none were the right job or the right timing for me, neither me nor Stobarts had a problem with that, 1 was every weekend, 1 was days only out of Appleton (wag+drag) and 1 was on the chip liners but would’ve been interviewing whilst I was on hols, no probs, and all those details are on these boards.
As an agency, it’s people like you that make us feel like 3rd rate citizens, I’ve heard the stories of agency drivers only getting crap trucks because they always crash them etc, never been my experience, most places I’ve been on agency, usually have a brand new truck, it’s usually a rental mind, that’s normally why they need agency in, too much work for their trucks / staff, probably because of so many full time staff being lazy goits??
Yes, there was bullying when I grew up, I grew up in a real time before all this mamby pamby H+S. I’m 5’8 and 15.5st, so about average tbh.
I didn’t go to bed to dream of being a trucker, I went to bed to get up for work this morning :unamused:
I have worn high heals, I went to The Rocky Horror dressed up about 3yrs ago, on my facebook, public knowledge, nothing ■■■■■, it’s called fun and living life.
Feel free to carry on your ‘grief’, I feel sorry for your husband, and I think that billybigrig was right about why your husband became a tramper and I like to be home as many nights as possible

Cruella1965:
I know that my husband is clean and respects whatever he drives…

It’s exactly with me. And I am also the same that I can only speak from what I know. And I can tell you that from my agency experience either I was very unhappy, or your husband and me together with other, who likes their lorries clean, belong to a sadly small minority.

I gave up cleaning everything in the lorry at the begining of the shift (unless it was something really disgusting, stinky, or annoying) but I can assure you about one thing: noone never found any rubbish after me*. In worst case they get their lorry back in the condition it was given to me.

So I would be grateful if you try to avoid further harming generalisations about agency drivers.

*except from one case when I packed all my rubish to a tesco bag and I forgot to take it away with me, leaving it in the truck.

Wow, thats one real angry woman! I think Mrs Cruelly should calm down a little before branding us a bunch of gyppos to boot!

Saw two of them heading south A1 past Wittering yesterday whilst i was parked up taking a phone call

Cruella, if agency drivers are so bad why do firms use them?

I am an agency driver, and Stobarts is one of the places I go to. I do agree with you in part that some of the trucks are left in a state, took one over from a tramper once and had to clear a bag full of rubbish out. Never made an issue of it, just bagged it up and put it in a bin so it wasn’t blamed on me. Funnily enough, I can’t be that bad as I’ve had the odd shift in there this last month :unamused: :unamused:

As has been said, if the agency drivers are so bad they don’t get asked back, I know of 2 at my agency that don’t go in there anymore, and know of another complete agency that were booted out over the standard of their drivers.

One question, which has been asked of you on another thread as well, if they were the only firm with a job, and it was take it or lose your house, what would your ‘Dave’ do? I suspect the same as most, and take it.

I don’t agree with what happend to alot of the drivers, especially as they were still setting on day and night drivers whilst consulting on these redundancies. But some people need to move on.

Constantly babbling nonsense, never pausing for breath, perpetually repeating the same crap about a subject she knows nothing about and which has nothing to do with her and then taking offence when all the people blessed with the gift of common sense choose to ignore her or question her stupidity …

… I think that IS my wife! :open_mouth:

Dented:

Your rants god, get a grip. you sure it wasnt your hubby with the mysterious marks on the bed?

Take no notice of them “Cruella” you’ve stimulated a fine debate(well some of them can “stimulate” themselves without help!) keep posting,I can see you know what the true score is and some of the muppets do not like the “hard word” Good on ya Gal,stick it to 'em !! Bewick.

Wish people wouldn’t ‘quote’ the whole posts when replying… :imp:

Cruella1965 you need to get a grip of yourself.

We played rugger at school but not rugby league which is played up north by working class blokes, I will take an interest in it though.

Huddersfield Giants 66 “fast eddies” Widnes Vikings ( should be Wimps!) 6 (Six) Ooooo the Chukkie brothers won’t like it,not a lot, but of course this match was played on an “out of fashion” surface i.e.Grass,so allowances have to be made when you aren’t playing on “state of the art” artificial surface ! Who are Widnes playing next week,Runcorn Girl guides ? at least they might have a chance of a Draw !!! Get a decent sponser for the RFL is what I suggest !! Bewick.
