Dutch truck scenes

I hadn’t noticed this thread before, but now, after browsing through all pictures I must say I like many of them. Especially some drawbar outfits look quite much what you could see here (Finland) also. Thanks for sharing these photos.

Some lovely pictures there Bert Poelman.

I used to take animal feed into Albers farm, now that was a bit of fun the first time. It is down a small lane with many weight limits in the surrounding area, it just looked wrong when you approached it :stuck_out_tongue:

Are there any Dutch drivers working for Van Der Vlist or only Roemeens now?

I too was interested in the ADR stuff and know most of the companies pictured.

Brilliant stuff, but lose the Fodens

some pics i took in the early 90`s :open_mouth: :sunglasses:

you have a fantastic eye for a great picture gert, i’m still puzzled at the picture of a P143 i was told they wouldnt make a P cab V8 as the radiator is too small to keep it cool. could be badged up but i didnt think the dutch were into that sort of thing■■?

That P143 might well be born as R143 with lower P cab put on in order to accomodate certain loads easier - such as cranes, drilling rigs and other ■■■■■■■■ with long bits sticking out of them

This is the sort of shed I want, a gaggle of old classics and a shelf stuffed full of cabs from Volvo, Scanias and Vabis.

Ah! Gebr.Kramer, just one of the companies I used to load fresh fish at every Monday afternoon in Urk.

And I see my old boss,Gijs Van Maanen, has another old Maggie he’s restored (the blue and white with the old frigo trailer)
