I once delivered to USAF at Lakenheath. At the security pound, you were invited to leave your cab & stand behind the yellow line while your cab was searched, swabbed etc.
I was standing behind the line, when the young (very young…I’ve guessed about 12!) American soldier swung his automatic and very very nasty looking automatic machine gun in my direction. I gulped and asked him if it was loaded. He smiled, and said “yes sir it is loaded, please do not worry”
I stood there, very still and worried my underpants!
I’ve had similar at Menwith Hill, armed guards, sniffer dogs,
not too bad until this firkin big alsatian sticks its nose in your crotch !!!

I’m loading at Tata thrybergh.
I arrived at 10 thismorning.
From 10 to 2 pm they managed to load two trailers.
Anyway I revered in at 2:15 and I then have to wait in the drivers pen!
So far I’ve been stood here for an hour
And it’s kin cold!
