Parking there was tighter than a Nun`s chuff, shunting back and forth.

No, not that Dave ,he used to drive for Lambert Bros. before MJM, Ketty used to drive for Phill Horrage and several others before he moved to France, he was in the Marines before that.

Sorry my mistake, wasnt it mick lambert of leic, he drove for before? i may be wrong , he did like to mix with the locals though !.Me, i fell in love with the girl with the curly hair in bp zaragoza, learnt spanish, only to find out it was unreconited…lol still ya got to try. she was tidy too…

how about the rouitier on the other way round by the bridge at bordeaux, more parking places, and the nomadic traveliing types in a van driving round all night with his mrs in the passenger seat, there was a place to eat called josephs nearby,a muslim run operation, not sure if it still there or not.

Nice place but always better to come off that junction and head the other way, in towards the city. Couple of lights down hang a left and park at the Quai’s. Much quieter way less English  Excellent food, company and surroundings

exactly and the weekend spent with less super heroes pounding your ears with their glory stories

  I used the cabbage patch once or twice, never liked it. I either stopped at the routiers on the N10 before you got to Bordeaux, or used the Centre Routiers (I had a euroshell and filled up there). If it was weekended, then I headed for the coast in summer or city centre in winter. Less “gloryboys” on vin rouge. Sorry if that went off thread!

short walk:
Toby you really are mad as a hatter arn’t you? Having said that I just love your random out the blue posts most of which are spot on if I sit and think about them. Yeah good times at the Cabbage Patch on PJK days, oh to be able to wind that clock back eh? (not the tacho Toby) Never got near marrying one tho.

Short Walk, who are you then ?. How long were you on PJK for ?.
