I think that the âtheftâ and the âattackâ are red herrings.

Listening to some of our more tougher members telling us how they would pull a TM over the desk and kick the â â â â out of him for not being nice or how they would knock out another driver for failing to be polite when asking them to move because theyâre blocking his access point, I think there are plenty hard cases on here whoâd have a square go with four guys and a hammer!
Not being funny but just how do 4 people attack a driver who is asleep in his cab? Theyâd all struggle to fit inside the cab to commit the assault in the first place and you wouldnât have much room to swing an hammer around.
Iâd like to think as soon as I heard the window smash Iâd be up like a shot and be ready with one of my large chefs knifes I have for chopping/cutting food ready to plunge into the first one that gets in the cab. Doubt is get done for murder as an Hungarian driver once stabbed 3 scrotes broke into his cab trying to Nick it while asleep, he stabbed all 3 one of them died and he was arested by the old bill on a murder charge only for the CPS To throw it out on the grounds of self defence.
That happend in Dudley and the 3 were known to police for steeling cars and trucks. The pricks family who got stabbed said it was a travesty of justice that the driver wasnât jailed.No it wasnât it was the perfect way of rewarding the driver of a job well done in my eyes, one less pond life to worry about.
Theyâll a been after his truck I bet rather than the drivers personal belongings.
Did well to get up into a cab though given the steps in most trucks are covered by the doors unless the driver didnât lock the door
As a distinguished DCI, I would bet that the driver got out to investigate the rear of his trailer, maybe shouted a bit : Excuse me, but you cannot touch anything in my trailer, as I have to deliver it intact in the morning, and I am responsible for anything missing. So scumbags then give him a bit of verbal back, saying something like: Oi mush, see this â â â â â hammer, its going right across your brain box if you donât go away quietly, and while we`re at it, well take a few quid as well for our troubles, and the dog and bone in case you call plod.
I hope the driver recovered from his headache, and is ok, at least hes alive.
