I agree that he was tried and found guilty and we have to assume that was the right decision, however one previous conviction for using a mobile whilst driving hardly shows that “the driver is prone to driving whilst distracted” which is the comment I was replying to.

It might not stand up as evidence in a court of law but in the court of public opinion it certainly would!
